Lates: Printed to perform - reshaping sports gear

This event is part of the Royal Society's Summer Science Exhibition 2024.

Experience top-tier innovation as Dimitris showcases a groundbreaking 3D-printed bike, which powered Will Tidball to gold at the 2023 Cycling World Championships. This bike also incorporates advanced carbon fiber technology.

Dimitris Katsanis is the CEO and founder of Metron Additive Engineering, which began as a forward-thinking design consultancy with a passion for innovation and a fascination with advanced technology. Their journey started with crafting carbon fiber parts, including the renowned GB bikes that dominated the past four Olympic Games.

This talk will be held in the Kohn Centre on Tuesday 2 July 2024, 6.50pm - 7.10pm.
